Mr. Joe Ragland

Mr. Ragland is the general music teacher and choral director at Squires and leads an after-school choir for grades 2-5. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Music Education; he also earned a Master of Education with emphasis in Instructional Technology from Georgetown College. Mr. Ragland also enjoys being an assistant Scoutmaster with local BSA troops, as well as a Sunday School teacher at Immanuel Baptist Church. When not at school, he is most likely out camping, hiking, or watching baseball.

Recorder orders

Recorder orders through the school are closed. If you would like to purchase a recorder on your own, please email Mr. Ragland for more information.

Squires Singers Fee

The application mentioned a $10 fee that would be collected later. This fee covers the Squires Singers shirt as well as music and materials for our performances and rehearsals.

You can send the $10 to Mr. Ragland (not the homeroom teachers) in cash or check made out to Squires Elementary. Please make sure the student's name is on the memo line for record-keeping purposes.
